Internet Explorer 5 and higher has a feature that allows you to export your Favorites. If you export the entire favorites to a file (rather than to another browser) you'll have an instant HTML page full of the links to all your favorite sites to use when you get a new computer.

To export your favorites:

1. Go to File from the menu bar and choose Import and Export.
2. From the menu select Export Favorites.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions. You can select an individual folder or your entire bookmark file. Choose a place to save it, and either accept the default name (bookmark.htm) or rename it to suit yourself
